Im a massive fan of split testing different features on my websites. On some sites Ive seen an increase in profit of 50% over time. It definitely pays to take the time to optimse pages and simply change button names as you mention can have massive effects long term.

Yup, I second the tracking issue. I like Google Analytics and Statscounter. You will have to experiment with them to choose which one’s for you.

I love google analytics. Ive used stats counter as well but I love the fact I can link analytics to my adsense account…

Yep, sometimes small detail can make a difference. Just like in every other part of our life. Sometimes we skip those few elements that seems to be so unnecessary and learn our lesson after some cataclysm that destroys a part of our world.

This is good stuff, I can’t believe everything they give us are free, Google that is.. Now to start some new tests with the web optimizer!
