  Bounce rate depends on many factors like, how people are bouncing from our web site to other website or bouncing back to SERP’s. How much duration the people are navigating through the site.

  If the bounce rate is high our site is not attractive. so more people are bouncing from our site. so we need to maintain the bounce rate as low as possible.

  Great post and very important. Indeed bounce rate is extremely important. Our clients setup Google Analytics to view certain reports. One of the reports is the Bounce Rate report which helps them a lot to maintain their readers. Great article for any blogger!

  I agree with everyone here. Bounce rates are ultimately gained by first impressions. If your site looks bad the user will ‘bounce’, if your site doesnt immediately offer anything of value your user will ‘bounce’ if your website is badly coded – slow loading errors etc – your user will ‘bounce’. Keep the simple things working and you will have a much healthier bounce rate
