Sphinn to Share This
July 18, 2007 // Drew Stauffer
The fact that Danny Sullivan launched Sphinn is a good enough reason for me to join. Now only few hours later I have found a way to incorporate Sphinn into my share this plugin.
Share This keeps all of my social media marketing icons in a nice and neat setup. Squareoak has altered the Share This file that allows you to add the Sphinn icon to your collection. To see the Share This plugin in action click on the green “share this” icon below each post.

Sit Back and Smell the Roses
July 18, 2007 // Drew Stauffer
I finally got a chance today to slow down and read some of my RSS feeds that I have been neglecting the past few days and I came across quite a few gems.
Sphinn by Danny Sullivan is a new social news and networking site for SEOs by SEOs. I didn’t need any more convincing than that to setup a profile.
SEOmoz landing page contest has officially begun. This is an unbelievable opportunity to get your work exposed to a large number of viewers for a relatively small amount of work.

Niche Marketing 101
July 16, 2007 // Drew Stauffer
What is Niche Marketing?
Niche marketing is the concept of targeting a specific, small group of people or businesses that are potentially in need of your services. Business plans like these are often very effective because you can achieve a greater ROI because your marketing and advertising budget is more focused on the people who will be likely to purchase your services.
Much like long tail keywords for search engine optimization, niche marketing will be targeting people who are very close to the purchasing stage versus people who are just price checking or looking at various services. Target marketing can be the best way to market your products and services and put them right in front of your customers.
