Become an Overnight Success as a Search Engine Marketer
March 22, 2007 // Drew Stauffer
Breaking into the search marketing industry isn’t the easiest career choice. There are many marketing giants out there and even more skeptics that think Search Engine Marketing is a hoax. But there is at least one opportunity for Search Engine Marketing hopefuls: Andy Beal at Marketing Pilgrim is having the second annual SEM Scholarship Contest.
Judging by the first place prize, the panel of judges, and the success of last year’s winner, Ben Wills, you will instantly be put on the search marketing map if you win. Check out all the contest rules and guidelines and get your submissions ready…you only have until April 6th.

24…The New Series
March 15, 2007 // Drew Stauffer
The end of February and the beginning of March has been absolute chaos for me. Wildfire has signed three new clients which are currently in development, DrewStauffer.com is in the middle of a much needed facelift, and I have been traveling non-stop. Needless to say my post output has drastically decreased.
My next article is about how to keep money coming in from existing clients which will be finished shortly. I want to know what you guys do when you’re just too busy to post? What do you do when there aren’t enough hours in the day?

The Power of a ReDesign
March 1, 2007 // Drew Stauffer
A few days ago I wrote a post over at Wildfire Productions, How A Simple Re-Design Can Increase Traffic and Sales. The article points out the benefits that can come with a simple redesign. From design, to development, and content to search engine optimization, everything about the site was redone with great success. Popoyo Rental is now listed on page 1 of Google, Yahoo, and MSN for many of its keywords.
Check out the article in full length for a thorough breakdown of what we did for each aspect of the site.
